About:
This week and last, our class got to take part in writing scripts. We worked with first graders to get a taste of some dialogue for our story’s, like I explained in my last post. Our task for this weeks post was to kind of elaborate on our experience through the process.
My thoughts:
This experience was so fun for me, and it was exiting hearing what they had to say. The whole time me and my group were working and then we went over the script with the first graders and it didn’t really seem like work. They gave great feedback, and most things they said made us laugh.
The Process:
The first thing that we did was assign certain scenes to each person. Although this didn’t exactly go as planned because of the little time we had, but it almost worked out better since we got the dialogue we needed, and they had really good input.
Mrs Tremonte worked on setting up the Skype and we all put on our name tags to help out the first graders with our names. Colton typed all of their ideas down and Ethan and I spoke.
Even though the whole project and the process wasn’t picture perfect, it was fun and everything tied up in the end and it worked out.
